my scrap philosophy

I scrap for me. I would love to do every page and look at it saying "wow, I'm proud of that"...but sometimes pages get done and are just okay.....that's okay! I don't have perfect days everyday, I'm not a perfect mom all the time, and perfect wife...LOL, let's just say I'm no June Cleaver ;) And those last 10 pounds I lost keep finding their way back...life isn't perfect, and neither is every scrapbook page :)

3 Challenges in 2 layouts

Sketch Inspiration has this sketch this week (I am showing it on it's side, because that's how I used it):

I did this layout (used my brand new We R Memory Keepers magnetic circle cutter!):

Sketchy Thursdays has this sketch this week (I am showing it upside down, 'cause apparently I like to flip things LOL!):

And I did this layout:

The first one is also for this challenge at If It's Groovy 's Birthday Bash crop:

My challenge has all to do with CUPCAKES! Now who doesn't like a cupcake!
Here is the challenge:
Choose your favorite cupcake recipe!
Chocolate – Complete a LO using primarily brown colors.
Vanilla – Complete a LO using primarily white and cream colors.
(You may use one other color in small amounts as your topping.)
Red Velvet – Compete a LO using red, cream and brown.
Sprinkles - Complete a LO using one solid color and 3 coordinating patterned paper.

I used Sprinkles.  The background paper is patterned (it's black with shiny silver stripes), the circle paper is the second patterned one, and the blue strip of paper on top is the third.  The solid one is the black mat behind the pictures :)

I was so happy that these were simple, but so cute to do...these are my last two pages of the second album I've done of the Jonas Brothers, and now I get to move on to another subject!

I like how flipping the sketch made your photos look like they hang. Very cool!
