my scrap philosophy

I scrap for me. I would love to do every page and look at it saying "wow, I'm proud of that"...but sometimes pages get done and are just okay.....that's okay! I don't have perfect days everyday, I'm not a perfect mom all the time, and perfect wife...LOL, let's just say I'm no June Cleaver ;) And those last 10 pounds I lost keep finding their way back...life isn't perfect, and neither is every scrapbook page :)

May challenges at IIG

My May challenges at IIG...layout challenge was to use a picture with shadows, I also used sketch 65 at Got Sketch, and my prize from Adornit:


and the altered arts DT project was to take something you have and change it...I did this lazy susan spice rack that I took the lids off of and was using as a pen holder...it needed some jazzing up:










Oh, and for fun, I wanted to share this picture that my cousin scanned and posted on facebook.  It's me with my mom and dad in late 1963:
